Background and Purpose

EcoPro BM Co., Ltd. (EcoPro BM or the Client), through a local subsidiary EcoPro BM Hungary Zrt. (the Company), is developing a cathode manufacturing facility with a total annual nickel-cobalt-aluminium (NCA) type cathode production capacity of approximately 120,000 tons (the Project, the Plant or the Facility) situated approximately 1.5 km south of the Debrecen City limits and approximately 400m of South Debrecen airport (the Site).

The Project has undertaken Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) as per Hungarian legislation, and Human Rights Risk Assessment (HRRA) to complement the EIA in conformance with the international standards.
